excellent stay
excellent service lovely room
charlie provided excellent check in service i felt compelled to thank him for the lovely room. the executive lounge allowed us to watch the sunset over the city. breakfast was a pleasure the chef quickly made an omelette.
the hotel decor and room were unremarkable and dated though clean. luggage was left unattended in an unlocked side room by the main entrance. there was a lack of respect for the security of my belongings.

helpful concierge smooth check-in diverse options
The concierge was helpful upon arrival with directions using the tube. Check-in was smooth. The staff kept me well-informed. The breakfast offered diverse options like English breakfast and continental selections (the pastries were delicious!).

Acceptable stay with service issues
unfriendly staff poor housekeeping
The location was convenient for accessing transportation. (The DLR was very close.)
The staff's attitude really affected my stay. Not once did anyone at the front desk welcome us back after a day in town. They never greeted us or inquired about our stay. I was told to get ice myself because there were no working ice machines. The housekeeping was also not great, as garbage remained in the room for days.
